A man from Kanyelele Township in Zambia has expressed his frustrations over his wife’s alleged habit of dozing off while cooking and doing household chores.
Daniel Halubanji claims that his wife, Purity Majooka, falls asleep during most of her daily tasks, including when frying fresh fish. Halubanji’s complaint has resulted in his wife dragging him to court for divorce, causing a rift in their marriage.
Despite his wife’s apparent sleeping habit, Halubanji still claims to love her. He believes that her behavior is indicative of laziness, as she has not made an effort to improve herself by starting a business or going to school.
Halubanji has repeatedly urged his wife to find something to do with her time, but claims that all his efforts have fallen on deaf ears.
Halubanji says that his wife often burns the food she is cooking due to her habit of dozing off. He claims that even when he comes home from work, he finds his wife sleeping, and that she falls asleep while taking a bath.
