Police in Karonga have arrested two men for allegedly being found in possession of documents related to a motorcycle taxi whose operator was murdered some days ago.
Spokesperson for Karonga Police, George Mulewa the suspects are identified as McLean Kayira aged 23 and Mayeso Mhone aged 31 were discovered by the Police during an investigation at Ekwendeni in Mzimba District.
“According to our investigations, we can confirm that Kayira and Mhone have been arrested at and we are still carrying out more investigations within and out of the district,” said Mulewa.
Mulewa also added that the suspects will appear in court soon to answer to a charge of being found in possession of documents that are believed to be connected to a murder case.
