Veteran politician and member of the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Ken Msonda has blasted Reverend Maurice Munthali for resigned from his post as Publicity Secretary for the Malawi Congress Party (MCP).
Munthali announced his resignation on Wednesday and he cited rampant Corruption in the Tonse Alliance and failure by the leadership to fulfill some of the campaign promises.
But Msonda has trashed the reasons given by Munthali.
“To me the reasons given by my fellow humble servant of the Most High God for resignation do not hold water!
“These are just mere excuses, pa zifukwa zanenedwa, palibe chikumvekapo apa,” wrote Msonda.
He added: “You don’t leave your collegues, your master in times like these, when the situation is TOUGH!
“This was the time for abusa to stand with a fellow humble servant of the Most High God and advice him what to do, osati kuthawa ntchito!”
