Three members of the same family have sustained serious injuries after a wall fell on them at Chisiwiri Village in the area of Senior chief Lukwa in Kasungu this morning.
Senior Chief Lukwa has confirmed the development saying a total of 17 houses have also collapsed in the village.
This follows a heavy down pour the area has been experiencing since Thursday night.
Kasungu District Disaster Relief and Management Officer, Tionge Msowoya has confirmed the incident.
She says officers are expected to visit the area for assessment.
Meanwhile, Senior Chief Lukwa has appealed for relief items to support those whose houses have collapsed saying they need food and shelter.
