Catholic Priest Accused of Fondling Male Student’s Private Parts and Sucking Them at Chaminade Secondary School In Karonga

In a shocking development, the police in Karonga have launched a manhunt for a Kenyan Catholic Cleric, who is currently working as a Chaplain at Chaminade Secondary School, on allegations of indecent assault of a Form 4 student at the institution.

The accused priest, identified as Rev. Father Cyprian Mayingi, is alleged to have been fondling boys’ private parts and sucking them.

The matter came to light when parents of one of the students reported the incident to the police, who immediately visited the scene but could not trace the accused.

According to Karonga Police Station Officer In-charge, Assistant Commissioner Edwin Munkhambo, confirmed the incident and said that police suspect that more students could have been abused at the school in this way.

Mayingi will appeal before court soon.
