Woman hangs herself to death while carrying own child on the back in Zambia

A 23-year-old woman of Ndashe Village Luano District has h@nged herself while carrying a baby on her back.

Central Province Police Commanding Officer David Chileshe identified the lady as Goodness Lole who allegedly tied herself using a chitenge wrapper in her sitting room.

Mr. Chileshe says people were alerted of the su!c!de by the one year old baby who kept crying while clinging on to her mother’s back.

The Central Province Police Commanding Officer says the reason behind the woman taking her own life is not known as she did not leave a any note.
