Marinica asks more time to make fast and forward philosophy doable in Malawi

Malawi National team Manager Mario Marinica has insisted his decision of using fast and forward football philosophy.

This comes as the poor Flames suffered a four nil defeat in the return leg against Egypt in the in the 2023 African cup of nation qualifies at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.

According to Marinica both teams produced five accurate shots on target but Egypt managed to capitalize on the chances than Malawi.

Marinica also added that he is not someone who can quit his work and is still here but he has condemned Malawians for cheering Mohammed Salah more than Malawians

However there have been mixed reaction following the defeat and Malawi has daunting task ahead for they have to win Guinea and Ethiopia games if they are to qualify for ivory coast 2023 African Cup Of Nations (AFCON) competition.

Speaking on the matter, human rights advocate Undule Mwakasungula has asked Football Association of Malawi (FAM) to terminate the contract of the National team head coach.

We cannot continue wasting a lot of money paying foreign Coaches who bring no tangible results for the nation,” Said Mwakasungula

Meanwhile, there have demand for FAM to fire the coach urgently and replace him with a local coach like the way Make Mwase did performed same as Senegal Coach, Morocco, Algeria and Many other countries.
