CHANCO student Ipen Chimphapa takes own life

A second year student from the University of Malawi, UNIMA), formerly known as Chancellor College (CHANCO) in Zomba has committed suicide.
The student has been identified as Ipen Chimphapa, aged 25.
Zomba Police Station Spokesperson, Patricia Sipiliano has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press, saying the student committed the suicide in his room last night.
Reason for his action are not known.
The body of Chimphapa has since been taken to Zomba Central Hospital for postmortem.
