Govt plans to produce national IDs for Cyclone Freddy survivors who lost theirs cards.

Government has revealed plans to commence producing national identity cards for people who were affected by cyclone Freddy.

The revelation has been made public in response to concerns raised in parliament by leader of the opposition Kondwani Nankhumwa.

Ken Zikhale Ng’oma Minister of Homeland Security said they are fast tracking measures to assist people who lost their national identity cards due to Cyclone Freddy.

According to Ng’oma through National Registration Bureau they will make sure that every citizen get the ID without hitches
