
CDEDI asks govt to explain the where abouts of k400 million and the progress of repatriating 50 girls stuck in Oman

Center for Democracy and Economic Development Initiative CDEDI has pinned government to explain the where abouts of k400 million kwacha which was set aside for repatriation of 50 struggling girls trapped in Oman.
This comes as the Malawian girls are still left stranded in Oman where they are being sexually abused.
Executive Director for CDEDI Sylvester Namiwa said government through Ministry of Foreign Affairs which explain the where abouts of the allocated money to rescue the girls.
Meanwhile Namiwa has given government 7 days ultimatum to explain the details of the money and expound on 2 billion kwacha budget that cabinet approved for department of disaster management affairs.
