Former MBC reporter Nomsa Mkandawire Taulo dies suddenly, Misa Malawi shocked

The Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA) Malawi chapter has expressed shock over the untimely death of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) South Sudan Communication and Innovations Analyst Nomsa Mkandawire Taulo.

Nomsa died on Saturday, May 6, 2023, after a short illness.

She worked for the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) as a reporter, editor and producer between 2004 and 2012 before joining Save the Children International as Campaigns and Communications Specialist.

Later, Nomsa joined United Nations in Malawi as a Communications Officer for Spotlight Initiative. She joined UNDP South Sudan in 2022.

Funeral details are still sketchy at the moment.
