Information reaching this publication indicates a 20-year-old man has died in Balaka after hanging himself in his house.
Balaka Police Station Deputy Public Relations Officer Mphatso Munthali said the deceased, identified as Madalitso Banda, was found hanging to the roof of his house on May 20, 2023.
Munthali said postmortem results from Balaka District Hospital have revealed that he died due to suffocation.
Banda was coming from Chatama Village in the area of Traditional authority Amidu in the district.
