UTM Deputy Regional Governor Denies Resigning From Her Post

United Transformation Movement (UTM) Deputy Regional Governor for the North Nengezi Ziwa has denied reports that she has resigned from her post.

On May 19, 2023 Nations Publications Limited published an article claiming that Ziwa has resigned from her post.

The newspaper quoted as WhatsApp text sent to her boss Moses Mlenga.

But Ziwa has trashed the rumours in a letter addressed to UTM Secretary General Patricial Kaliati.

“I am writing to address a recent article published in The Nation newspaper, which falsely claims that I, Mrs. Nengezi, the deputy regional governor for UTM Party have resigned from my position. I would like to clarify that the information presented in the article is entirely false and without any basis,” reads in part the letter.

Effort to talk to Kaliati on the matter proved futile.
