106 Illegal Refugees Arrested In Blantyre On First Day

At least 106 illegal economic asylum seekers have been arrested in Blantyre on the first day of a police operation.

Beatrice Mikuwa, Police Spokesperson for the South West Division, says the operation targeted Blantyre City townships and it is ongoing.

Out of the arrested, 57 males, 27 females and 26 children.
