All is set for a peaceful demonstrations against PMRA

An association of Medicine Store owners in Malawi has confirmed all is set for a peaceful demonstration on Friday in Lilongwe against the Pharmacy and Medicine Regulatory Authority (PMRA).

The grouping is demanding that the authority should review some of its policies which are allegedly affecting the business growth of it’s members.

Prescott Choso Chairperson of the association of medical owners in Malawi, the demonstrations have received a green light from Lilongwe District council.

Choso added that the association has mobilized enough security personnel to provide security to the protestors as well people’s property.
