The opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has expressed shock over the death Trouble (Mavuto) Kunsowa, one of the party members.
Kunsowa, Chief Security Officer of Mighty Mukuru Wanderers died on Wednesday in Blantyre after a long illness.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mavuto Kunsowa, a staunch supporter of the Democratic Progressive Party – DPP .
“Mavuto popularly known as “Trouble” was a dedicated supporter, a brilliant cadre and friend to many. He has passed on this morning after a very long illness. We keep the Kunsowa family in our thoughts and prayers,” reads part of the statement.
Kunsowa’s burial is scheduled for today.
