Rising Cost Of Living Continues Hitting Malawians Hard

Calls To Increase Minimum Wage Continues as low paid workers feel the pain to the rising cost of living.

This has been noted as some of the workers in the commercial city of  Blantyre are staying idol during lunch time and some are opted to buy cheap cost food not by choice but their pocket can afford.

The maximum cost food is K1000 but a lot of people are opting to buy cooked cassava and sweet potato at a minimum cost of k100.

The rate of inflation has currently risen meaning that the prices of commodities will continue to rising.

However, it has been noted that some companies have not yet increased salaries to to its employees even thou cost of living is still rising on daily basis.
