Ben Phiri Protests Alleged Threats of Arrest in Parliament

Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) legislator for Thyolo Central Ben Phiri is protesting against sentiments made in the house yesterday where a his colleague from the government side hinted at his arrest.

According to Phiri, when similar sentiments were made in parliament previously, he got arrested after the house rose.

However, the deputy speaker Madalitso Kazombo has assured the legislator of his immunity.
