Fire has gutted part of Ndirande Market close to Ndirande Health Centre in Yesterday’s night 20 August 2023.
When Blantyre City fire fighters arrived at the scene to quench the fire, they were stoned by an angry people for taking so long to respond the accident.
The cause of the fire, still remains a mystery and the investigation by police is underway to to uncover the truth.
However , Ndirande Police Spokesperson Jailosi Maxwell has said that the law enforcers are waiting for people whose properties have been destroyed to report to police to make a final estimation on how much has been lost.
