Information reaching this publication indicates that five staff members from the state controlled Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) have been involved in road accident in Rumphi District.
The five are reporter Alepher Kasongo, Producer Mike Mkwala, Sales Executive Frederick Pongolani, Cameraman Joseph Phiri, and Chukumbutso Banda, Driver.
They were traveling to Rumphi on a field trip and met their fate near Bwengu.
They have since been rushed to Rumphi District Hospital for treatment.
