Maranatha Compliments Ministry of Education

In the quest to motivate best performers, and encourage other candidates to work hard, Maranantha Girls Acadamy, has today, held a Heroes Party to award the top performing students for Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education (PSLCE) exams and 2022 Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).

Fifteen PSLCE and MSCE best performers have walked away with cash prizes amounting to K500 000.00 each, and one with K750,000.00

Vitumbiko Kaunda, the only student who scored six points in 2022 MSCE examinations and Alinafe Chulu, the top performer in 2023 PSLCE examinations have marched out with One Million Kwacha each.

In her remarks, the Deputy Minister of Education Hon. Nancy Chaola Mdooko M.P, urged the shining stars to always aim for the sky.

“Let me also encourage all parents and guardians to support their children in the pursuit of education,” Mdooko further said.

The Managing Director for Maranatha, Dr. Ernest Kaonga uploaded government for the evident improvements in the sector.

“It is very commendable, the ministry has done really well this year. We decided to award the PSLCE top tiers following the ministry’s initiative to publicize names of best performers. Not only that, but the ministry has also released the examination results in time this year,” Kaonga professed.
