ZANU PF Chinhoyi Parliamentary Candidate Thomas Chidzomba dismantles borehole after losing polls

Date:

ZANU PF Chinhoyi Parliamentary Candidate Thomas Chidzomba has dismantled the borehole which he had sunk for the people.

Chidzomba lost the elections heavily to a CCC candidate.

Zimbos are waiting for the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) to finish counting votes and announce the official results of the 2023 Harmonised General Elections, which started on 23 August and are folding today.

In the run-up to the 23 August election, Chidzomba blessed Chinhoyi and installed a borehole to provide people with clean and safe water, considering the challenges faced in most urban areas in the country.

As he showed his caring side, Chidzomba hoped Chinhoyi residents would remember his act of kindless and vote for him in the election. As fate would have it, the people are seemingly leaning more towards CCC over him.

ZEC is yet to officially announce the winner of the Parliamentary poll in the Chinhoyi constituency.
