Today is a big day for LGBTQ+ rights in Malawi as a major case against laws that make same-sex marriages illegal resumes.
In this case, a Dutch person named Wim Akster and a transgender woman named Jana Gonani are challenging these unfair laws.
The Attorney General, Thabo Chakaka Nyirenda, said that all sides will get a chance to speak in court.
The judges in charge of this case are Joseph Chigona, Chimbizgani Kacheche, and Vikochi Chima.
