The development comes barely a month after he also released another hit single titled ‘All I Need’ and the song is currently enjoying massive airplay.

‘What We Are’, is a song that that empowers people. It encourages them to live an intentional life.

Speaking in an interview with faceofmalawi ahead of the song release MwaIr said the song mainly encourages Malawians to live a purposeful life.

“So basically, it’s a song that empowers people. It encourages them to live an intentional life. To somehow try to steer life in the direction they wish to go.

“Although life is a series of accidents, they must have a general direction of where they wish to go,” said MwaIr.

He then said he expect the song to spark some thoughts in people to try and shape their lives.

The Lilongwe-based artist recorded his first song in 2011 and released his first album All I Ever Dream in 2012 immediately after he finished his secondary school education.
