MCP SECRETARY GENERAL CAUTIONS MUTHARIKA

Malawi Congress Party Secretary General Eisenhower Mkaka advice former President Peter Mutharika not to blend cultural celebrations events with party politics.

Speaking during the developmental rally in Chikwawa, Mkaka accused Mutharika for misleading people saying Mulhako wa alomwe is an event which aims at celebrating the lomwe cultural and not a political rally.

Mkaka applauded President Lazarus Chakwera’s government for the developments that his government is doing in all the districts without discriminating any tribe.

The MCP Secretary general also highlighted the steps which President Chakwera is undertaking to make this country realise the Malawi Vision 2063. He cited the launched Mega Farm in the district as an example of initiatives which will help Malawi realise the aspirations outlined in the Mw2063 blue print.

Addressing People at this year’s Mulhako wa Alhomwe, Former President Peter Mutharika said he will bounce back in 2025 and fix the economic challenges Malawians are facing.

Mutharika claimed that the economic challenges such fuel scarcity, rise in prices of goods and forex shortage which Malawians are facing under the Lazarus Chakwera administration, will be fixed if he wins the presidential elections in 2025.
