Kwezy buses staff members accused of ill-treating passengers

Some passengers who frequently uses Kwezy Buses in their tours have taken to social media to accuse some staff members of being disrespectful.

Writing on his official facebook page one of the passengers identified as Gift Henry Nkhoma said while traveling to Blantyre on Friday from Lilongwe, one of the staff members blocked him from disembarking from the bus at Lunzu.

“For the last 2 years, I have been a fan and a loyal customer commuting between Lilongwe and Lunzu, Blantyre (hometown). I actually prefer Kwezy buses against driving or flying, that’s how loyal I’ve been. Today, I have to say I’m very disappointed.

“I chose the bus against my wife’s wishes and booked for Blantyre like always. When going to Blantyre, I always drop off Lunzu to pick up a car from home. Today, while close to Lunzu, the attendant tells me they dont stop by Lunzu anymore, in a rude way,” wrote Nkhoma.

He added:  “I asked the team to show me the Terms and Conditions where they documented this change, they actually challenged me to report this issue to anyone and anywhere.”

Concurring with Nkhoma’s remarks Tawina MrPriorities Likweta wrote: “Well put,I concur with you…these guys are becoming rude…maybe they feel like they run the cities now lol.”

Effort to talk to Kwezy Buses management proved futile.

Below is Nkhoma’s statement posted on facebook;

Dear Kwezy Buses ,

For the last 2 years, I have been a fan and a loyal customer commuting between Lilongwe and Lunzu, Blantyre (hometown). I actually prefer Kwezy buses against driving or flying, that’s how loyal I’ve been. Today, I have to say I’m very disappointed. I chose the bus against my wife’s wishes and booked for Blantyre like always. When going to Blantyre, I always drop off Lunzu to pick up a car from home. Today, while close to Lunzu, the attendant tells me they dont stop by Lunzu anymore, in a rude way.

I asked the team to show me the Terms and Conditions where they documented this change, they actually challenged me to report this issue to anyone and anywhere. This is exactly what I am doing. I could have chosen the inbox, but it’s because of how your staff treated me, embarrassed me, like a peasant, like I rode the bus for free, like I’m stupid for choosing Kwezy, it’s why I am posting this here on my timeline.

My advise, please hire and train qualified people and document all changes in your travel plans on your terms and conditions. We are not all prophets, so we wouldn’t know about your changes without you telling us.

This is why Malawian owned businesses don’t survive for long. Shame! Fix this! !

Inakakhala nthawi ya Kamuzu, tikanazitaya but now sitisekelera zopusa!
