In Mulanje, a man in his 70s was found dead on Wednesday morning in a room at one of the rest houses at the Chitakale trading center.
Mulanje Police Spokesman, Sergeant Innocent Moses, has identified the man as Lemon Walama, who was working as a security guard at the rest house.
He said Walama allegedly engaged in an intimate encounter and took Viagra to enhance it.
“He died during the encounter, and when we received the report, we rushed there and took the body to Mulanje District Hospital, where postmortem results revealed that death was due to cardiac arrest,” said Moses.
