Five students from the University of Malawi, formerly known as Chancellor College (CHANCO) have been expelled from the institution for allegedly being involved in plagiarism.
UNIMA registrar Towera Mwathunga has confirmed of the development in a memo addressed to all staff and students dated October 20, 2023 seen by this publication.
The students have been identified as James Nyirongo, Mphatso Gunde, Ned Chabwera, Blessings Solo and Wanangwa Mkandawire.
It is said that the students were copying from each other during examinations.
