Unidentified person has been burnt to death by an angry mob at Lumbadzi trading centre in Dowa district over theft accusations.
Lumbadzi Police spokesperson Felix Kwinyani confirmed of the development in an interview with the press on Sunday.
According to Kwinyani, the incident happened in the wee hours of Sunday.
He said the deceased was found in one of the houses around the area where they suspected him of stealing some electronic equipment.
According to Kwinyani, they have since launched an investigation to arrest those connected to the incident.
