Bolero-Rumphi road closed by angry villagers at Bumba Primary School

Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that villagers living around Bumba Primary School have closed down the Bolero-Rumphi road to protest against high accident rate involving learners at the school.

The angry villagers who are currently burning tyres on the road want the Roads Authority (RA) to construct road humps with an aim of controlling motorists from speeding.

The villagers claim that motorists does not observe speed limit since the road has no road signs, putting the lives of learners at Bumba Primary at risk.

The law enforcers from Rumphi Police Station have since rushed to the scene.
