Reverend Edina Navaya’s funeral ceremony underway

The body of late Reverend Edina Navaya will be laid to rest today at HHI Cemetery in Blantyre coincidentally she was born on 31 October.

Until her death on Sunday this week, the late Navaya was ministering at Limbe CCAP Church and she also served as a moderator for four years at Blantyre CCAP Synod.

Meanwhile, the farewell service of worship is underway at the Multipurpose Hall at HHI.

Malawians from all walks of life have gathered to witness the ceremony. Notable figures include Minister of Gender, Jean Sendeza, who is representing President Dr Lazarus Chakwera, Minister of Agriculture, Sam Kawale and Deputy Presidential Advisor on Religious Affairs, Sheikh Abasi.
