ADMARC reporting on how maize selling is progressing

The director of ADMARC, Daniel Makata, said that out of the 12,640 tons that the government gave them, to distribute to people, especially in areas where there is not enough maize, 3,293 tones are left to take to the market.

Makata told the parliament committee of Agriculture this morning that 9346 tons of maize were delivered to various ADMARC markets for people to buy.

He said that the second phase of sending maize to ADMARC markets will begin when the government will supply maize another tons of maize to them.

Officials of ADMARC are appearing before the committee to explain how the plan of selling maize is progressing.
