The Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA) Malawi has said it is deeply saddened by the untimely death of the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) Editor Isaac Malunga.
Malunga died on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Mwaiwathu Private Hospital in Blantyre.
Until his death, Malunga was a Principal Editor in the News and Programmes Department at MBC. He was also a reader of Nkhani m’Chichewa, the popular Nkhani zam’maboma and Mphangwa [Nkhani] m’Chisena.
The media fraternity will remember Malunga as a very humble, dedicated and supportive journalist.The Malawi media will miss his services.
Malunga will be laid to rest at HHI in Blantyre on Friday, November 3, 2023.
