Chisi says MCP has visionary leadership

Former Umodzi Party President Professor John Chisi has described Malawi Congress Party (MCP) as a party with visionary leadership.

Chisi said this in Lilongwe as he was being welcomed into MCP fold.

“We are seeing development right now in the country in which others failed. These are visionary people with visionary leadership,” said Chisi.

Commenting on the future Umodzi party Chisi said that supporters and some top blasts have all the powers to de-register the party or keep the party.

He said he is out of the party and has nothing to do with it.

Chisi has joined MCP together with former opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Vice President for Central Region Zelia Chakale.
