Senior Chief Vuso Jere of Ntchisi district has asked Dr. Lazarus Chakwera to consider helping his people on the problems they are facing in the district such lack of better houses especially civil servants.
“We want government to help us with houses of people who work in government because there is not enough houses for people who work in government and also with the problems of clean water, especially at Chinthembe Secondary School where children there are using unclean water,” Said Jere.
Jere said government need to help his district with maize because there is hunger in the district, and added that the government should also promote irrigation farming in order to ensure that farmers have enough food.
Senior chief Vuso Jere spoken this today in Ntchisi where Dr. Lazarus Chakwera was launching Part 2 of the Agriculture Commercialization (AGCOM) Project.
Among others, the initiative is aimed at promoting the commercialization of agriculture and food system resilience in the country.
