In Balaka 15 people are in police custody for suspecting them that they have committed various crimes in the district.
According to the police spokesperson of Balaka district, Gladson M’bumpha, some of these crimes are theft, breaking people’s houses and including raping children.
M’bumpha said that the people were caught between the nights of 17 and 18 December this year, and police have managed to find some stolen good that the suspect stole.
The suspects, are of the age between 18 to 32 and they will appear in court soon and they will answer the charges each is facing.
