The Country Has Enough Maize – Chakwera

President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has assured people that the country has adequate maize to stock all ADMARC depots across the country.

Dr Chakwera was speaking when he made an impromptu visit to Zingwangwa ADMARC Depot on his return from Chikwawa.

The Malawi leader wanted to appreciate the procedure of selling the staple food at the depot.

The President said the price of maize is expected to go down because the commodity will be available at all major selling points.

Dr Chakwera added that the government is implementing the social cash transfer programme to improve the welfare of people.
