Chakwera’s red carpet stolen by unknown thieves

Information reaching this publication indicates that unknown thieves have stolen a red carpet used by President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera during public functions.

According to information at hand, the carpet has been stolen together with a tent ast night along Zalewa- Mwanza road as the items were being moved to Mwanza where President Lazarus Chakwera has a public event tomorrow, Friday.

The law enforcers have since launched manhunt for the said suspected thieves.

President Chakwera will be in the district for the ground-breaking of the construction of Mwanza Stadium, as well as inspect the newly constructed Mwanza police officers’ houses.
