Uladi Musa joins MCP

Suspended Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) member Uladi Mussa has dumped the party and joined the Malawi Congress Party (MCP).

Mussa was welcomed into MCP fold by President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera during a development rally in Salima yesterday.

Speaking after being welcomed into the party, Uladi said MCP is not a family party as is the case with some political parties in the country.

He then promised to join work tirelessly in supporting the vision of President Dr. Lazarus chakwera ahead of the 2025 polls.

Mussa was suspended in DPP for allegedly attending the National Governing Council of DPP which was sanctioned by the then Secretary General Grezelder Jeffrey.

The opposition DPP is yet to comment on the matter.
