Malawi’s celebrated hip-hop artist, Limbani Kalilani, popularly known as Tay Grin has taken to social media to wish well her lover Mutale Mwanza who is currently reportedly to be ill.
On Monday, Mutale Mwanzas record label said that the artist has severe sores inside her left eye which are causing discomfort, pain, swelling, and a temporary loss of eyesight.
“Medical professionals have advised Ms Mwanza to abstain from using her cellphone, laptop, television, or any devices that may expose her eyes to excessive light,” reads part of the statement signed by Kelcy Holcomb.
Holcomb said the health setback follows Mwanza’s previous struggles with migraines, attributed to her intense work schedule and dedicated work ethic.
After the news, the Nyau King wrote: “Jeremiah 33:6 reveals God’s promise of healing, assuring abundant peace and security. Today, I invoke this verse for you, Mutale Mwanza Wishing you a swift recovery, my Queen. This too shall pass, and I’m earnestly praying for your soon-to-come testimony.”
Rumours have it that Mwanza and Tay Grin are dating.
