25 Year Old Commits Suicide from A Tower In Karonga

A 25 year old man, Jacob Mwakatundu, has died after throwing himself from an Airtel Tower at Mwambuli Village in Traditional Authority Kyungu’s area in Karonga.
Confirming the development, Karonga Police Station Public Relations Officer, George Mulewa, said the deceased was taken to to Karonga District Hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Reports indicate that Mwakatundu was mentally ill.
The deceased hailed from Mwambuli Village in the area of Paramount Chief Kyungu in Karonga District.
