Police in Nkhunga, Nkhotakota, have now arrested the driver of a vehicle that was abandoned on the road after days, suspecting that he abandoned it upon realizing that the police were after him for allegedly trafficking marijuana.
Nkhunga Police spokesperson Andrew Kamanga said they arrested Frank Malunga, 28, on Wednesday in connection with the marijuana case.
On February 16th this year, police found a Toyota Town Ace vehicle at Dema along the M5 road, containing five bags of marijuana.
The driver will appear before court soon.
