Liberation Freedom Party welcomes new members

David Mbewe President of the Liberation Freedom Party said his party is making positive strides ahead of 2025 elections.

Mbewe was saying this during the welcoming ceremony of new party members at his residence in Machinga district.

The members that were welcomed are from other party, Clement Phiri who was national campaign director for the Peoples Party (PP) and Josephine Basikolo, women’s director for the eastern region for the former ruling party.

“I am impressed with the numbers that the party is garnering” said Mewe.

He emphasized that the party has sights on liberating the party from various socio-economic ills.

Mbewe is one of the people who have since hinted on heading for ballot next year.
