Immigration officers call off strike silently amid threats from Homeland Security Ministry

Information sourced by this publication indicates that Immigration officers across the country have silently called off their planned national wide strike.
The disgruntled officers want the Immigration Chief Charles Kalumo to resign.
But a visit to Immigration head office in Blantyre, faceofmalawi reporter saw the officers discharging their duties normally.
The situation is similar in Lilongwe and Mzuzu.
Earlier, Ministry of Homeland Security described the strike as illegal.
