Airtel Redeploys Kamoto To Tanzania

Airtel Malawi Managing Director Charles Kamoto has been redeployed to Airtel Tanzania as Managing Director, the public listed company has announced.
A statement signed by Airtel Malawi Board Chairperson Ngeyi Kanyongolo has not stated reasons for the redeployment.
Airtel Malawi Finance Director Abdul Khayyum Shaik has since been appointed as Acting Airtel Malawi Director.
Kamoto’s journey with Airtel Malawi began in May 2014 when he joined as Chief Commercial Officer, he was promoted to a position of Managing Director in March 2016.
