Judges, Magistrates set to meet lawyer Kamangila over corruption scandals

Information reaching this publication indicates that Magistrates and Judges Association in Malawi (Majam) is today scheduled to meet lawyer Alexious Kamangila over corruption claims involving High Court of Malawi Commercial Division Judge Kenan Manda.
Kamamgila through a facebook post accused Manda of dirty dealing in a Commercial case Number 136 of 2024 involving Mukteshwar Sugar Mills Limited vs. Salima Sugar Company Limited.
MAJAM Secretary General Peter Kandulu has confirmed of the development, saying the meeting is set for 6pm today via zoom.
“MAJAM is concerned with the serious allegations raised and would like to interface with you so that we have a better understanding of the issues that you are raising,” reads part of the letter.
On his part while questioning the meeting Kamangila confirmed that he will attend the meeting.
Kamangila through his facebook page has launched a scathing attack on various serious Judges in the country.
