
Zomba Records Sharp Decline in Murd3r, Burglary, and S3xual Offences

Zomba Police Spokesperson Patricia Sipiliano has reported a significant decrease in cases of murder, burglary, and sexual offences in the district over the past three months.
According to Sipiliano, murder cases have dropped by 50%, with only 8 cases recorded this year compared to 16 during the same period last year. Additionally, burglary cases have decreased by 53%, with 143 incidents reported this year, down from 302 last year during the same timeframe.
Similarly, sexual offense cases have seen a reduction of 16%, with 31 cases reported this year compared to 37 last year.
“The security situation in the district remains strong,” Sipiliano stated.
