Blantyre Hospital Confirms No Poisoning in April Beer Consumption Deaths Occurred At Manase

Health authorities at Blantyre district hospital have ruled out poisoning in the beer consumption incident that occurred in April this year at Manase in Blantyre.

Seven people died after consuming suspected poisonous liquor, popularly known as Ambuye Nditengeni or Magagada at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital.

It follows the results of a post-mortem conducted by Pathologist Charles Dzamalala.
