A Nigerian woman has caused a stir on social media after admitting to cheating on her boyfriend and lying about her whereabouts.
In a viral post on X (formerly Twitter), the woman was asked about the biggest lie she had ever told her boyfriend. Without hesitation, she confessed that she had spent time in a hotel with another man while telling her boyfriend she was at home.
She also shared that when her boyfriend tried to video call her, she lied about a power outage to avoid the call.
In her words:
“I was with another guy, and my boyfriend kept calling me. The other guy was better than him, so I went to see him. I only visit him when I’m in the mood. My boyfriend wanted to video call me, but I lied that there was no light at home.”
“He wanted to see my face and where I was, but I told him I was at home with no light, and he believed me.”
“I went to be with another guy while my boyfriend kept calling because he loves video calls. I didn’t pick up and even told the guy with me that it was my brother calling.”
“Since the other guy wanted to date me too, I stepped into the bathroom and texted my boyfriend instead of sending a voice note, so he wouldn’t hear my surroundings. He believed me. He even bought me data that day.”
