United Transformation Movement (UTM) President Dr. Dalitso Kabambe has once again criticized President Lazarus Chakwera’s leadership, arguing that his administration is failing the nation due to three key issues.
The UTM President made the remarks during the party’s rally in Mzuzu, which was attended by a large number of supporters.
Firstly, Kabambe accused Chakwera of practicing tribalism by appointing individuals from his own ethnic group to key government positions. He claimed this has led to an uneven distribution of development projects across different regions.
Secondly, he pointed to corruption, alleging that some government officials entered office with limited personal assets but have since accumulated wealth through illicit means.
Lastly, Kabambe argued that many officials within the government lack the necessary expertise to govern effectively, resulting in poor decision-making that continues to hinder the country’s progress.
As the election date approaches, various political parties are actively campaigning, holding rallies to attract voters and secure their support.
